Structured Investment Products

SBM’s Structured Investment Products are offered to qualified institutional purchasers. The institutional product line offers fixed-rate investment notes, generally issued for five-year terms at rates comparable to current high-yield fixed-income rates.

The investment notes are structured as unrated, secured notes issued by a special purpose entity and backed by a pool of collateral primarily consisting of real estate and real estate related investments. SBM Financial, LLC serves as the sponsor and collateral manager for the investment notes, and directs the proceeds from the note issuance to its higher-yielding, non-core investment projects.
